Despite the behavior of mother nature, we're actually drawing closer and closer to Spring - in approximately 26 days (I think!). Although my love for layers and boots never ends, I have to admit I'm quite ready for the warmer months. With all these new collections (particularly Zara), I've especially been inspired by the debut of black and white combos (or white alone), siiiiilver, polished pointed toe heels, bold colors, notched hemlines, and cropped tops (or bandeaus). Also loving things not pictured above - the inclusion '90s facets...denim everything from destroyed jeans and shorts to button ups and jackets. The completely lax and undone mentality is definitely something to appreciate. I remember the good ol Cali days of tying plaid tops, crew neck sweaters, or likely things around the waist 'coz it was just too hot to don - this little act truly resonates with me.
Back to the list - I really couldn't decide between Karen Walker's Anytime or Number One...though I think Anytime may be more timeless, I'll prob end up getting Number One soon. The brabbling continues. I know those Isolas are so last season, but I want them more than ever, don't care if it's old - I can picture myself wearing them with my newly leather fringe mini and that bandeau (pictured above) layered beneath a sheer white tee. And lastly, must mention my newly found love for shapeless shift dresses - perfect for summer-time layering or just to wear alone with killer heels (the Isolas) and a little extras - perfectly simple and minimalistic - or just perfectly me.
