Simply simple

{Sweater, Studded Blouse-Forever21, Jeans-J Brand, Boots-Guess, Sunnies-Gucci}

This preppy-esque sweater is slightly outside my realm, but I can't stress enough my emphasis on unexpected pieces. The photographer (aka the hub) suggested riding boots, but that would be too expected along with standard heels or flats. I figured these thigh-high boots would do the trick since they have no indicated relationships with collared blouses underneath cable knit sweaters. And since I haven't pulled them out in approximately one year, I knew they were the chosen ones. I have this love-hate relationship with high boots since many don't seem to be made perfect enough and the ones that are, I'd never be able to afford. These are the only ones I own - that's why you'll often see me in ankle boots. They're just that much easier to get right. Anyway, I'm going on off on a tangent, but the purpose was to, in a way, explain my mentality when preening.
