Recyclin' & revivin'

{Floral Shorts, Graphic Tank, Metallic Blazer-Forever21, Shoes-Aldo, Tights-Target}

In attempts to whittle down my closet, I'll be reviving the things I once loved and can't seem to be rid of. I admit, it's becoming exhausting to amass these things only to let them lurk around irrelevantly. Let me start by introducing the items and their age:

- Floral Shorts {7 months}
- Metallic Blazer {4 years}
- Tank {3 months}
- Cami {3 years}
- Tights {2 years}
- Strappy Heels {2.5 years}

The mix-up started strangely and was quite a challenge as my aesthetic has evolved over the years (I think I've become frumpier and frumpier). So I probably changed outfits 3-4 times before I finalized, but like most of my outfits, my options revolved around one item. I woke up implanted with the idea that I wanted to incorporate a feminine, almost-not-me kinda piece, which led to these floral skirt-like shorts. Then the shoes - I've had them for a while, but never made good use of them and eventually realized that I didn't really like the way they looked on my feet. I easily solved that problem with tights - I actually like 'em that way. And then the jacket...the perfect oversized fit, yet never worn even once since I've owned it, though the metallic coating yields such a nice contrast. The top just sorta happened as I found it while digging for my tights. A bunch of random finds, but here's the curated ensemble.
