Heap Appropriate

Just as I was yammering about the weather a few weeks ago, it drops just enough for me to build a nice heap. Layering is primal for cold weather as much as tights are if you're not in the mood for denim...key is to start with a simple thin base, which you can build upon with other basics, belts, knits, accessories and a jacket. The more texture, the better. But since I'm not much of a need-a-different-bag-everyday kinda girl, I maintained my daily essential. Also, notice how tweed/boucle seems to have emerged as a necessity recently...I guess you know what to go buy now. More to come on this so stay tuned.
